About

Hi My name is Grahame Anderson and I’m a Director of Toltech Internet Solutions Ltd. who are an Internet Marketing, Web Design and Development business based in Greenock which is on the banks of the River Clyde approximately 25 miles from Glasgow in the West of Scotland.

My Job at Toltech

My job is to find and encourage progressive businesses who are hungry for new business and help them adopt new ways to be smart about Web technologies for their advantage.

My role is to educate business owners to the many options they have at driving more business to their doors by the adoption of many new ways to promote their business.  I present and explain to them in simple terms the fast changing technologies and how they can be implemented to create advantage whether for increased business, selling to new markets or just saving time. I deliver the strategy and my team deliver the know how.

Over the past 12 years I have presented to thousands of businesses. Do they all listen? – No. The smart business owners are the ones who look beyond how they ‘have always done things’  They look for the next best thing, they focus on change and they adapt their businesses,  they know that the web is ever changing and that their website must develop constantly to gain the maximum from it. That’s my job to find smart businesses and to help them  ‘Embrace the Web’

My Hobbies

My main interest since I can remember has been music. I have a keen interest in what I call real music and not 3 minute pop tunes.

Progressive rock has been with me since 1971 as I love the complexity of the arrangements. I still listen to bands such as Yes, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Heart and Led Zeppelin which probably led me to embrace classical music my favourite being Rachmaninov.  Outside  of progressive rock I have always had a leaning towards female vocalists such as the incomparable Kate Bush.  Favourite song writers are Jon Anderson for writing the ultimate songs of Awaken and Change we Must and the best in Folk music writer has to go to Tracy Chapman.

I played guitar for a number of years (poorly) but still enjoy it as a release from clearing my head from Google Analytics and Web Statistics.

My other hobbies are reading which would include a large number of sales books (how sad is that) motivational books by Anthony Robbins – Life changing and for those contemplative moments I usually dip into a Treasury of Khalil Ghibran
